The characters/ cast
Jim | Owen Weber | A lonely hermit, afflicted by a freak genetic defect that renders him immortal, feels cursed to wander the Earth alone and miserable forever. Not much amuses him or gets him out of bed in the morning, until he meets Annie, the doppelganger of his long-lost love, at the same moment the answer to his prayers for the end are answered.
Lyle | Hunter Bradley | Twisted and manipulative, a proudly self-described “narcissistic hedonist sociopath”, he’s the immortal younger brother of Jim. He’s toured the globe feasting on fancy and flesh waiting for the moment human scientific achievement and technology catch up to his aspirations to sell his immortality to the highest bidder.
Skip Cole | Derek Garza | Gregarious, underachieving EMT. Loyal to a fault and type-B as they come; he’s got a “guy” for everything. What he lacks in polish, he makes up for in craftiness and charm.
Annie Cole | Annelyese Ahmad | Sweet, approachable resident doctor with a rapier wit. She feels constantly obligated to keep an eye on her brother, Skip. Fresh out of a failed marriage, she thinks her world is upside down until she meets Jim and then everything turns a whole new shade of weird.
Gil | Adam Shalzi | Robotically stoic, he’s a man of few words by necessity and might be slightly inbred. He’s Lyle’s indentured man servant who hasn’t quite gotten the hang of his duties yet.
Ginny | Arianna Lexus | A high-priced escort with looks that kill and enough street smarts to be dangerous. She thought she’d seen it all…until she met Lyle.
Michael Rosenblum | Will Clinger | President of the board of Vistamo Pharmaceuticals, he’s a brilliant and highly decorated science mind with a healthy ego and no patience for dalliance. His comfortable, insular world is upended in short order when he comes up against the likes of an adversary more brazen and savvy than him.
"Silhouette" | Marshall Bean | CEO of Vistamo Pharmaceuticals, when you talk about The Man, you’re referring to him. With a voice that of it’s own merit can make a roaring lion cower, his presence is at once arresting and captivating. Omniscient, ever-present, and endowed with limitless means, he gets what he wants and if you defy him, God help you.
Candice Bergdorff | Megan Delay | Not the brightest crayon in the box, despite what she might tell you. She’s an EMT who frequently works alongside Skip.
Roberta Drummond | Audrey Allen | Vistamo Pharmaceuticals Board Member. Unapologetically brusque, she’s the woman who, in every situation, turns out to be the fun police. She believes that successful people are hardworking, serious people. She fancies herself the model of that mantra.
Diane Shannon | Stacie Doublin | Vistamo Pharmaceuticals Board Member. She's the one who enforces the rules when necessary, and makes the up if she feels like it. It doesn't hurt to be on her good side.
Doug Blommer | Brian Peck | Vistamo Pharmaceuticals Board Member. If he wasn’t so damned smart, his head-in-the-clouds presence and lackadaisical attitude would surely be his downfall. There was that one time he discovered a game-changing cancer molecule, though.
Frances | France Jean-Baptiste | Curt, perpetually bored, yet efficient when absolutely necessary, she’s disenchanted by a healthcare system she feels has failed her. Oh, and she hates people.
Frank Abel | Dan Stearns | Vistamo Pharmaceuticals Board Member. Ascribes to the sentiments and attitudes of the Good Ol’ Boys Club, he walks like an Ivy Leaguer, talks like an Ivy Leaguer and, yeah, he’s got the Ivy League pedigree, too. Anyone not of his ilk is invisible to him.
Susan Rappaport | Elizabeth Kline | A glass-ceiling breaker who can hold her own in a traditionally boys-only world, she’s worked every day of her life to earn her spot on the board of Vistamo Pharmaceuticals. She dares you to underestimate her.
Cindy | Casey Tutton | Bright-eyed, bushy-tailed summer intern at Vistamo Pharmaceuticals who is so eager to earn that stellar recommendation, she’ll do whatever it takes.
